During the gala dinner at the meeting of the Joint Committee of CEEPUS Ministers in Budapest, the CEEPUS Ministers' Prizes for 2024 and 2025 were awarded.

At the meeting of the Joint Committee of CEEPUS Ministers on 15 May 2025, organised by the Tempus Public Foundation on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, Balázs Hankó, Minister of Culture and Innovation, and Michael Schedl, Secretary General of the CEEPUS Central Office, presented the CEEPUS Ministers' Prize to the most successful CEEPUS networks for the academic years 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The winning networks are selected each year based on an international evaluation by the National Offices and independent national experts.

The award for 2024, i.e. the best performance in the academic year 2022/23, was given to the project led by the West University of Timisoara, Romania. The Red de Hispanistas de Europa Central network is made up of 22 Spanish and Latin American departments from 11 CEEPUS countries, including Eötvös Loránd University, Pázmány Péter Catholic University, University of Pécs and University of Szeged.

The network has been in operation for ten years and has significantly benefited from the mobility opportunities offered by the CEEPUS program. Its long-term goal is to explore the differences and similarities between Central European and Latin cultures, focusing on aspects such as language, literature, and social issues through interdisciplinary research. Additionally, the network aims to provide participating faculties with relevant knowledge of the Spanish language and employable skills.

The award was received by the network's lead coordinator, Ilinca Taranu, and Dr. Domingo Lilón, representing the University of Pécs.

The award for 2025, i.e. the best performance in the academic year 2023/24, goes to the network INTEGRATION, coordinated by the Polish Poznan University of Technology, which is called “Development of mechanical engineering (design, technology and production management) as an essential base for progress in the area of small and medium companies' logistics - research, preparation and implementation of joint programs of study in the aspect of Industry 4.0”. The network includes 32 institutions from 11 CEEPUS countries, including the University of Debrecen, the University of Miskolc and the University of Nyíregyháza. The project aims to promote the development of mechanical engineering (design, technology and production management), with a special focus on the logistics area of small and medium-sized enterprises. The context of networking is Industry 4.0, the fourth industrial revolution, which involves integrating digital technologies across all areas of industry, including plant construction, maintenance, and optimization of production processes.

The award was received by the network's lead coordinator, Prof. DSc. PhD. MSc. Eng. Stanislaw Legutko, and Dr. Zoltán Kovács, representing the University of Nyíregyháza.

The awards were created by Maja Erdeljanin, a sculptor artist living in Novi Sad.
